We’re not a corner shop.
If your Sebo vacuum is suffering from any of the following problems, we can fix it..Intermittent cutting out.

Damaged power cord where it enters the handle.Automatic height adjustment not working correctly. Not picking up like it once was.

Difficult to push on the carpet (especially deep pile carpet). No power at all when you switch it on.

Smoke, smell, or ominous rumbling from the motor.
Red ‘bag full’ warning light illuminated when the bag is empty. This causes intermittent power loss, and the best solution is usually a new power cord.. You can shorten the cable, but as the rest of the cable is as aged and as used as the broken bit, it is usually not too long until you’re doing it again and again, so it is better to replace the full thing.
Luckily, it’s quite an inexpensive thing to do.. Power cords are not covered under the Sebo commercial warranty either, this is because they are regarded as a consumable.Their longevity is dictated by usage and wear and tear.. That a power cord is not covered by warranty also means that replacing it yourself doesn’t affect the warranty on your machine.
In other words, if you replace a cable after 8 months of heavy use and your motor blows up (unlikely with a Sebo, but still) after 11 months, nobody is going to try and wriggle out of the motor warranty on the basis you swapped a lead, flex or power cord on your XP Sebo.. Find our Sebo XP orange flex. Here at the Sebo shop at Manchester Vacs, we have been having our own replacement power cables manufactured for some time.
